This black Telecaster appears to be one of the first guitars Karl has ever owned, already playing it back in his days with Neon Blocks. It is certainly the first guitar Karl ever played with Kraftktlub, as seen on very early appearances in 2011. It was then rather quickly replaced with a white Telecaster. This is a Fender TL-62 Made in Japan Telecaster, a reissue of the original 1962 Telecasters. Under the Fender TL-62 designation, it was manufactured from 1984-2015 (the earlier Made in Japan model in 1983 can be found under the Squier brand). This instrument was most probably from the 1999-2009 era, either an 62B-65US or 62B-75TX (more information on TL-62s here). The main difference between these two models are the pickups.
