Till's bass here might look like a standard Jazz bass of Fender fame, but it is instead an Ibanez 2365B. It is from their vintage lawsuit era - so called because they copied copious amounts of designs from Gibson, Fender, and Rickenbacker, and sold them much cheaper. Subsequently, they were sued by Gibson in 1977 over one of their Les Paul copies. However, the quality of these instruments rivals and even surpasses that of the American manufacturers of the time, and are therefore still sought after today. This is an Ibanez 2365B from 1973-75, due to its rosewood fingerboard and white inlays, as well as the coloring. For more information on this and other vintage Ibanez models, see
